The Institution is established and managed by Vijaya Educational Charitable Trust, New Delhi.

• The Institution is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
• Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi for B.Ed. (Two-Year), Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed. – Two-Year), and the Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP B.A.B.Ed. – Secondary Level).
• B.Ed. (Two-Year) and B.A.B.Ed. (Four-Year Integrated Programme) were initially affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). Following the establishment of Krantiveer Tatya Tope Vishwavidyalaya, Guna (Madhya Pradesh), these programmes are now affiliated to Krantiveer Tatya Tope Vishwavidyalaya, Guna. Students admitted under the earlier affiliation shall continue to complete their programmes under Jiwaji University, while subsequent admissions are affiliated to Krantiveer Tatya Tope Vishwavidyalaya, Guna.
• B.A., B.Sc., and the Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP B.A.B.Ed. – Secondary Level) are affiliated to Krantiveer Tatya Tope Vishwavidyalaya, Guna (Madhya Pradesh).
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed. – Two-Year) is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal.
• Degrees and Diplomas are awarded by the respective affiliating Universities and the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal, upon the successful completion of the prescribed programmes.
