Ombudsperson
In accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations, the Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training (HITT) has appointed an Ombudsperson for redressal of student grievances. The Ombudsperson functions as an independent and impartial authority to ensure fair, transparent and time-bound resolution of grievances of students.
The Ombudsperson addresses complaints related to admission, fees, examination, evaluation, academic matters and other issues concerning students, in cases where the grievance has not been satisfactorily resolved by the Institutional Grievance Redressal Cell.
The mechanism aims to safeguard the interests and rights of students and to promote a conducive, inclusive and learner-centric academic environment in the institution, in compliance with the norms and guidelines of the UGC.
