Current Status
Established in 2014, Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training (HITT), Raghogarh has emerged as a distinguished centre of higher education, dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and professional teacher education. Recognized by NCTE, New Delhi, the institute offers a vibrant multidisciplinary learning environment that empowers students to excel in academics and beyond.
The B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., and Four-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP B.A.B.Ed.) are affiliated with Krantiveer Tatya Tope Vishwavidyalaya, Guna (M.P.), while the D.El.Ed. programme is affiliated with the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, ensuring high academic standards and regulatory excellence.
With a perfect blend of quality education, skilled faculty, modern infrastructure, experiential learning, and value-based education, HITT continues to shape confident graduates, competent educators, and responsible citizens prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
Infrastructure Development
Built to inspire learning and innovation, HITT offers a contemporary academic infrastructure that caters to the diverse needs of Teacher Education, Humanities, and Science programmes. From technology-enabled classrooms and advanced laboratories to an enriched library, digital resources, and collaborative learning spaces, every facility is thoughtfully designed to provide students with an enriching educational experience and prepare them for the challenges of the future.
Future Plans
At Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training (HITT), our vision extends beyond the present. We are committed to evolving into a comprehensive multidisciplinary institution by expanding our academic portfolio with B.Com., M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., and M.Ed. programmes, offering students broader opportunities for higher education and professional excellence.
As part of our commitment to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the institute also envisions introducing the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in B.A.B.Ed. (Primary Level), B.A.B.Ed. (Middle Level), B.Sc.B.Ed., B.Com.B.Ed., and Special B.Ed., preparing highly qualified and future-ready educators for diverse educational settings.
Looking ahead, HITT aims to establish a Centre for Research, Innovation & Excellence, dedicated to advancing educational research, interdisciplinary studies, faculty development, innovation, skill enhancement, and community engagement. Through these initiatives, the institute aspires to become a nationally recognized hub of academic excellence, leadership, and transformative learning.
Collaboration
HITT has undertaken several activities in collaboration with specialists from Columbia University, New York City, to enhance teacher training Programmes. These initiatives include intensive training Programmes for teachers.
Research and Development
All faculty members are actively involved in research work and regularly participate in seminars, workshops, and orientation Programmes. The institute encourages research activities and innovative teaching practices.
