Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC)
Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training
The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training has been constituted to promote equality, inclusiveness, and social justice within the institution. The Cell ensures that students from all sections of society, especially those belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and other disadvantaged groups, receive equal access to education, opportunities, and institutional support.
The Cell works towards creating a discrimination-free academic environment and spreading awareness about constitutional values, social equity, and human dignity.
Objectives
- To promote equal opportunities in education for all students irrespective of caste, creed, gender, or socio-economic background.
- To support students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and other underprivileged sections.
- To ensure a safe, inclusive, and discrimination-free learning environment.
- To create awareness about social justice, equality, and constitutional rights through academic and co-curricular activities.
Functions
- To monitor and support the academic progress of disadvantaged and underrepresented students.
- To organize seminars, workshops, counseling sessions, and awareness Programmes on equal opportunity and social inclusion.
- To address grievances related to discrimination and ensure redressal as per institutional norms.
